Employment Matters and Labor Law Compliance

Hunt Ortmann will proactively counsel and work closely with clients to develop strategic plans that prevent employment-related problems, including labor issue assessment, creating and updating employment handbooks, counseling regarding specific employment matters as they arise, keeping workplace policies current and in line with recent legislative changes and judicial opinions, and counseling managers and supervisors on the application and enforcement of policies. The employment law group will also train managers, supervisors and non-manager employees to ensure company employment policies are properly implemented.

Should the need arise, the employment law group is fully ready and capable of representing employers in any employment dispute and litigation. In the appropriate case, we have the ability to dispose of the matter prior to the start of trial through aggressive motion practice or through an aggressive settlement approach. Should a case go to trial, our extensive trial experience allows us to persuasively present the case to a jury and to a judge.
