Pasadena construction and commercial litigation firm in need of mid-level (4-7 years) contract associate for 40+hrs /wk. Possible temp to hire.
Substantial civil litigation experience a must. Construction litigation, large document cases and deposition experience are all a plus.
This is NOT document review position.
Should be energetic, possess a "can do" attitude, and have hands on experience with a variety of cases of various sizes. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Flexibility in handling assignments is critical as the candidate will work on multiple projects for multiple attorneys.
Key characteristics of the successful candidate:
* Works and acts just like one of the Firm's Associates
* Has superior communciation skills - both written and oral
* Knows how to establish and confirm scope on an assignment to know what is needed, when and how long it should take - this is a deal breaker
* Has the ability to research and draft a variety of items
* MUST be tech friendly - Lexis, Word, Outlook, Interwoven, Summation
